Our take

Mirumi does one thing: it turns toward people, then looks away shyly, and buries its face at loud noises. Eight-hour battery, no app. It launched in Japan in April 2026 after a large Kickstarter and has no U.S. retail channel yet.

Best for: Gift buyers who can find one.
