Ropet is a desk-sized furry creature whose body warms to near skin temperature, recognizes faces and gestures, and runs its AI on the device by default (cloud features are optional). Fur, eyes, and masks are interchangeable. The Pro bundle at $349 includes the charging base; the $299 Basic does not. Battery is under four hours and the fur is delicate. It shipped to Kickstarter backers in 2025 and sells direct with a one-year warranty and 30-day returns.
Best for: Adults who want something cuddly and responsive on a desk; not for dementia care.
