Japan monthly service plan reported ~¥9,900/month by third-party trackers (not verified on GROOVE X site).

Japan's warm, wheeled companion — importable, not sold in the U.S.

Our take

LOVOT exists to be held: it is warm, makes eye contact, roams the house, and asks to be picked up. It is also not sold in the United States, costs ¥577,500 in Japan with a price increase scheduled for October 2026 and again in January 2027, and importing through the official forwarder adds a $999-a-year plan. We include it because people ask; we do not recommend importing one unless you already know you want it.

Best for: Committed enthusiasts willing to import.
