It is also not sold in the United States, costs ¥577,500 in Japan with a price increase scheduled for October 2026 and again in January 2027, and importing through the official forwarder adds a $999-a-year plan. We include it because people ask; we do not recommend importing one unless you already know you want it.

Specs and prices come from the manufacturer's own pages and press releases, checked on September 5, 2026; owner-reported limitations come from published reviews and caregiver forums. We have not yet tested this unit hands-on — what that means. Price confidence: low. Confirm on the manufacturer's site before buying.
Price note: No US list price — not officially sold in the US. Japan body price ¥577,500 (tax incl., base colors) until Oct 25, 2026; GROOVE X announced a two-stage increase: ¥599,500 from Oct 26, 2026 and ¥649,000 planned from mid-January 2027 (≈US$3,900–4,400 depending on exchange rate). Overseas buyers use forwarding partner BEX (lovot.bex.market), which requires a USD 999/year support plan. Japan monthly service plan reported ~¥9,900/month by third-party trackers (not verified on GROOVE X site).
