What is the Nicoo robot puppy?

A battery-powered plush toy dog that walks a few steps, barks when its head is tapped and, in some versions, wags its tail. It is sold under the names Nicoo, Nico and Nicco, usually as 'My Realistic Robot Puppy', by many unrelated online stores. It has no microphone, voice recognition or AI.

The toy exists and usually ships, but it is not what the AI-generated ads show, and there is no single company behind the name. Review scores on the seller sites that can be traced are 2.0/5 (Trustpilot, kefxs.com) and 1.0/5 (ProductReview.com.au). The original Amazon listings have been removed.

How much does the Nicoo robot puppy really cost?

Pop-up stores show $15.99–$32.95 'sale' prices against a $59.98–$69.99 'regular' price that the toy has never sold for. The same toy is $6–$16 on Temu and $15–$40 on Amazon.

Where is the Nicoo official website?

There isn't one. Sites calling themselves the 'official' Nicco or Nicoo store (for example us-nicco.com, branded BetterLife) are dropshipping storefronts registered within the last year; several earlier ones are already offline.

Nicoo / Nico robot puppy: what it is and what it costs

Short version. "Nicoo – My Realistic Robot Puppy" is not a brand. It is a keyword-style name attached to the generic walking, barking plush toy by dozens of independent dropshippers and marketplace sellers, some of whom also ran the Wuffy and Froplay funnels. It was the first of the "AI puppy" names to appear (ads from December 2024), it ran two waves of advertising (spring 2025 and the 2025 holidays), and a Wuffy buyer in 2026 received toys branded NICO. The toy costs $6–$16 on Temu and Amazon; the pop-up stores charge $16–$33 against a "regular price" of $60–$70.

The sales pages promise "military-grade AI", "learns your voice", "soft breathing and heartbeat simulation", a "built-in microphone", and — in the ad title quoted on Reddit — a puppy "invented by scientists in Germany". The delivered toy has a motor, a sound chip and a battery compartment. One reviewer notes it was previously sold as the "Milow Smart Puppy"; another that it is "often marketed as the Froplay Playful Pup". An early seller, canilora.com, used Tombot's videos of its real robotic puppy Jennie as the ad footage.

Who sells it

No single owner. Storefronts we could trace, with the seller's own published details:

Walmart and Amazon marketplace sellers listing "Nicoo"/"Nico" plush puppies at $14.99–$39.99. Amazon has removed the three original "Nicoo" listings.

The name is also being reused for other animals: a "Nicoo – My Realistic Robot Pony" appeared on Amazon in 2025.

Prices

Sale pages: $15.99 to $32.95. "Regular" price shown: $59.98 to $69.99. Marketplace: $14.99 to $39.99. Temu (listing since discontinued): under $6. Wholesale figures of $3–$5 have been reported by third-party review sites but we could not verify them.

If you already ordered

Because there is no company to deal with, go straight to your card issuer: dispute the charge as "not as described" with the ad and a photo of what arrived. File a BBB Scam Tracker report naming the store domain, not "Nicoo", so the next buyer can find it. Check for a recurring membership charge; at least one Waggy seller of the same toy attached a $24.99/month "club".

What to buy instead

The toy in the ad, with returns: $15.99 or $16.99 on Amazon, or the leash-remote version at $39.99. A puppy that actually responds to touch and voice, for an older adult:
