metaDog is the dog version of MetaCat: soft fur, animated eyes, head and tail movement, voice commands, and a USB-C rechargeable battery. It is the closest rechargeable alternative to the Joy for All Pup, at a similar price. Same caveats: ships from China, limited returns, no care-program track record.
Best for: A dog-person senior at home, when someone can handle charging.
